I graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a PhD in Systematic Theology in 2013.  Living in the north of Scotland for three years was a tremendous experience for me, my wife of 21 years, and our three children. Now back home in the Pacific Northwest, I teach theology, church history, and religion at a variety of undergraduate and graduate institutions including Fuller Seminary Northwest, The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology, and Saint Martin’s University.  In addition to my roles as father, husband, and student I am also a writer, an editor, and a science fiction fan.
